Fields we use

  • Constituency number, name and reservation category (GEN / SC / ST)
  • Assembly-to-parliamentary constituency mapping
  • Polling station part number and name
  • Winning candidate, party and margin for 2024 Lok Sabha results

How records are matched to places

  • ECI electoral districts are linked to districts in the location directory, so constituency pages can point to the matching district.
  • Village-to-constituency links are only shown once verified; places that merely share a name are presented as related names, not as identical areas.

How counts are calculated

The import is checked against 543 Lok Sabha and 4,129 Vidhan Sabha constituencies, and every assembly constituency must map to a Lok Sabha constituency.

Known limitations

  • Constituency boundaries do not follow district or block boundaries.
  • Electoral rolls and polling station assignments change before each election; use the official ECI services to check your own details.
