How India’s constituencies are organised

India elects members to the Lok Sabha from Parliamentary Constituencies (PCs). States and eligible Union Territories also contain Assembly Constituencies (ACs) for their Legislative Assemblies. Each Assembly constituency lies within a Parliamentary constituency, while constituency boundaries and administrative district boundaries are different concepts.
